Celebrating Crawford Alumni in Canberra

Dr. Helen Hoang is delighted to share an exciting announcement for November: she will be hosting a landmark event in Canberra for the Australian National University’s Crawford School of Public Policy. This celebration, “Celebrating Crawford Alumni in Canberra,” is set to shine a powerful spotlight on the remarkable achievements of Crawford alumni and their profound impact across the Australian policy landscape—showcasing not only leaders in government and business but also trailblazers in education like Dr. Hoang herself, whose acclaimed initiative Economics For Kids is inspiring a new generation of thoughtful, financially literate citizens.

Known for nurturing a vibrant alumni community, the Crawford School’s network is a driving force in shaping public policy in Australia and beyond. Through her Economics For Kids program, Dr. Hoang has passionately championed the importance of financial and economic literacy among children, making complex concepts accessible and engaging through storytelling—a reflection of the same spirit of innovation that animates the Crawford alumni community.

At this dynamic Canberra gathering, alumni will reconnect, exchange bold new ideas, and spark lively debate under the theme “Australia in a Changing World: Policy Challenges and Opportunities.” The event will feature an inspiring panel of alumni—each bringing unique, sector-specific insights on how Australia can stay competitive, resilient, and inclusive. Dr. Hoang eagerly invites fellow alumni to join her for a spirited, thought-provoking discussion that promises to advance not just policies, but the values and vision that move Australia forward—and to celebrate how initiatives like Economics For Kids are sowing the seeds for tomorrow’s changemakers.
